All of Linneo’s vision insurance plans include an eyewear allowance between $100 and $250. Need exam coverage? Choose a plan that also includes an exam allowance. Linneo offers plans with a separate exam allowance between $40 and $100.

Eyewear Savings Plan

Suppose you or your family simply need discounts on contact lenses or prescription and non-prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. In that case, you will benefit from our Eyewear Savings Plan.
The Eyewear Savings Plan from Linneo costs $12 per year for Subscribers and provides a 15% discount on eyewear from participating providers.
The Eyewear Savings Plan is ideal for young people who have aged out of their parent’s insurance or retirees without Medicare eyewear coverage.

Exclusively Online Retail Eyewear

When you choose one of Linneo’s vision insurance plans, you get access to discounted eyewear from SmartBuyGlasses, Lensabl, and Visibly.
When you choose Linneo’s Eyewear Savings Plan, you can access discounted eyewear from Lensabl and Visibly.
SmartBuyGlasses and Lensabl provide Linneo members with discounted contact lenses and prescription/non-prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. Visibly provides Linneo members with discounted contact lenses only.
The eyewear allowances in Linneo’s vision insurance plans are specifically designed to be used online. The prices of eyeglasses can be considerably lower online, sometimes as low as $7 per pair. A Linneo eyewear allowance can be used to buy a pair of eyeglasses with designer frames from one online retailer and a backup pair of $7 eyeglasses from a different online retailer. Then, the remaining allowance can be used to purchase contact lenses from a third online retailer.
If you’re looking for a large selection of frames, look no further. There are thousands of frames available from SmartBuyGlasses and Lensabl. There are designer brands at higher prices, private-label brands at lower prices, and different shapes and sizes to fit any face.

Eye Exams

Some of Linneo’s vision insurance plans also offer coverage for a comprehensive eye exam. Your exam allowance can be used anywhere. That’s right—anywhere. Unlike other insurance plans that require finding a participating provider, Linneo lets you get an exam from anywhere and reimburses you.
If you don’t need a comprehensive eye exam, but your prescription has expired, you can try the prescription renewal service offered by Lensabl and Visibly. Your exam allowance also covers it.
